The recent Nexus Report by Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) has highlighted the strong interlinkages between some of the biggest challenges facing humankind such as climate change, biodiversity loss and hunger, and emphasised on the need for adopting an integrated approach in addressing these issues.
