• In rubber industry.

DISTRIBUTION OF LEAD IN INDIA

• Reserves of lead - The Himalayas, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.
• Mines -Rajasthan produces about 94%of the total production of India.
• Mines of Udaipur are the major producers.
• Kurnool and Nalgonda mines in Andhra Pradesh.

• Rajasthan produces more than 99% of the total production.
• Zawar mines of Udaipur.
• Also, in Sikkim.
