- Reserves of lead - The Himalayas, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.
- Mines -Rajasthan produces about 94%of the total production of India.
- Mines of Udaipur are the major producers.
- Kurnool and Nalgonda mines in Andhra Pradesh.
- Rajasthan produces more than 99% of the total production.
- Zawar mines of Udaipur.
